In 2007, there were about 10,000,000 people employed with an unemployment
rate of 4,6%. Agriculture
and natural resources account for 3% and 5% of GDP respectively; however,
they contribute substantially
to export performance. The largest export markets are Japan, followed China,
the United States,
South Korea and New Zealand.
