The station is situated east of State Street. and opened in 1892. The station serves the Illinois Institute of Technology.

It is rather surprise for us that this railway scene has not been changed and keeping the same way for the period of one century.

CTA（シカゴ高架鉄道・地下鉄道）案内 ＣＴＡの電車は日中は比較的頻繁に運行されており、ビジターパスさえ
持っていれば出費を気にすることなく移動できるので大変便利である。シカゴ・ループから、Red、Brown、Blue、
Green、Orange Line などが放射状に南北または西方向に路線を延ばしている。シカゴ治安は以前とは異なり、
そう悪くないが、夜間の利用や地区によっては注意が必要、各車両には運転手と連絡できる非常用ボタンがある。

シカゴ市中心部よりＣＴＡで１０分ほどでGreenfield Park Conservatory に来ることが出来る。１００年の歴史
ある施設で、広大な温室に多くの湿地植物、砂漠植物などがよく手入れされ保存されている。都会の喧噪から離れ
静かに過ごすことも出来る場所だ。無料で開放されている。
